Lessons & Coaching
Jennifer currently works as a private piano instructor and coach from her home studio in Halifax, NS. Previously she worked at Acadia University’s School of Music as the staff accompanist, a part-time piano instructor and faculty member from 2003-2016, was the master class pianist for the Young Artist Program at Scotia Festival of Music for seven years and taught at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts from 2017-2019. Jennifer also worked at Abingdon Boys’ School in in Music Department, Oxfordshire, England, UK. Ms. King holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Acadia University, a Master of Music degree in solo piano performance from McGill University, postgraduate diplomas from the University of Reading (Music Teaching in Private Practice) in the UK, and the Royal Academy of Music (Piano Accompaniment) in London, England.
